Death of a Secret is an autobiography of sorts. It is a work of fiction as everything in it is completely made up, but the emotional roller coaster that it is speaks volumes. It's been a roller coaster ride just to get it out into the world so you can bet your ass that I'm extremely proud of this one. This, if I never publish anything else ever again (don't worry, I will), is the one that matters the most to me. I really hope that you enjoy it!

THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN NO SPOILERS...SORRY!
I came across Christy's work a while ago, with her horror short story series, and I was if I'm honest slightly dubious about her crossing genre, considering she did them so well it was almost a supernatural feet in its own right.
All that being said though Christy called upon whatever being she sold her soul to, and produced another one of a kind read. Like I said I was unsure if id like the book or if it would grip me if at all but it did in ways I wasn't expecting, but my God so many twists and surprises, that I won't spoil for you.........see for yourself, but believe me when I say you won't be let down.
I liked the writing style as i said, but and this is the only reason for the 4 STAR rating. I got a bit confused with who was who. Having said that, after a bit of backtracking it didn't squash my honest enjoyment of the book.
Her style of writing is very different from her other works not to mention the way the story unfolded in front of me. Just as I felt I had it figured out it shifted again. Very clever while remaining completely believable. That is the sign of a true talent.
